A long, long time ago there was a little girl with strawberry blonde hair who lived across the street from me with her two brothers. I played with her, babysat for her, went to the same schools as she did (although not at the same time), went to the same church, her Mom was my confirmation sponsor and our families have always been there for each other. Last weekend that little girl married her best friend, and I was asked to be their photographer. I couldn’t be happier to be able to do that for them.
If you are a follower of this blog, you know that I always pick my favorite part of every wedding to share. That’s really hard to do for this wedding because there are so many. I think the joy and excitement that Crystal had the day of her wedding (and the weeks prior!) was not only my favorite part, but also contagious. You couldn’t help but be overjoyed for Crystal and Dan when you saw how happy they were to be getting married.
I also really enjoyed the photos in the snow. I don’t get that opportunity often as most people aren’t brave enough to have a November wedding. And the weather has to cooperate enough to get good shots. Luckily, the snow was perfect that day. Even though my hands were completely and totally frozen by the time we were done, it was well worth it. The photos were fun and they turned out great. It’s always more fun when the bridal party is up for anything and these guys definitely were. So a special thanks to the bridal party for putting up with the 20 degree weather!
Here are just a few of my favorite photos from Crystal and Dan’s wedding day. I hope you like them as much as I do!
Congratulations Crystal and Dan. Many years of happiness to you! Now get working on those babies! Enjoy your photos!
